What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
On the freeway the brakes began pressing themselves, lifting the pedal had no impact on the brakes being applied. I had to shift into 3rd gear and floor it to move off the freeway safely. The wheel weights fell off the wheels the brakes were so hot I had to keep away from the wheel.

The muffler sticks out even so minimally (almost an inch) that I have been burned three different times at exact same area on my lower leg when after driving the car, I go to open my back trunk to retrieve stuff.
Intermediate shaft broke. Ims failure. Result is whole engine replacement.
