What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I was going under 30 mph on a regular road. Avoiding a collision, one of the front wheels locked causing the vehicle to flip.
Right headlight assembly (low beam) stops working properly. Running light and high beam works fine but not the low beam. Installed a replacement bought on ebay which worked for a few months but the same issue eventually reappeared.
In September 2025, our vehicle suffered a complete internal LED headlight blowout. When I explicitly asked my service advisor if this was a known manufacturer defect, I was told that this failure "occurs frequently" and that my only option was to pay full price for an entire replacement assembly.
Passenger low beam led stopped functioning at 39k, with no warning light of it ceasing to function. Safety of passengers and driver were at risk. Went through diagnostics at dealership, diagnosed to need a complete headlight assembly replacement.
In addition, the contact stated none of the safety features functioned as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed power control module. The contact was informed that the power control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
Component/System: Exterior lighting — right front low beam headlight. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. 2019 model year vehicle has 65,000 miles Safety risk: The right low beam headlight failed, reducing forward visibility on the right side during nighttime driving and in low-visibility conditions.
Vehicle keeps entering limp mode when driving. Complete loss of power car cannot move and is left stranded. Vehicle has been at the dealership diagnosed and repaired over 4 times but the problem still remains.
Failure of the front passenger side seat sensor failed causing the passenger seat belt to not be activated. Seems exactly like the 2015to 2018 recall.
