Tl* the contact owns a 2014 triumph tiger. The contact stated that the muffler fractured and detached from the vehicle. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the welds were insufficiently welded and the muffler and rear of the frame needed to be replaced.
Stalling occurs when disengaging the clutch while downshifting, as fuel management system does not maintain proper, minimum idle. No power available when re-engaging the clutch.
Tl* the contact owns a 2004 triumph tiger motorcycle. The contact stated that while parked, fuel spewed profusely from the fuel lines. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number 04v156000 (fuel system, gasoline).
Rear brake light will not illuminate unless firm pressure is used on the front brake lever (rear brake light switch is ok).
Tl contact owns a 2002 triumph tiger. While riding 2-5 mph or in the idle position, the vehicle would shut off completely. The vehicle was able to be restarted immediately. The dealer replaced the throttle position sensor, but the failure continued. The failure mileage was 500 and current mileage was 9,000.
