Going about 70 mph around a turn when the transmission froze, locking the back tire and almost killing me. ***dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis****749978
The fuel injection system fails constantly. With the bike dying around turns. Yet triumph still takes no responsibility. Please help me because the next time such a thing occurs it could be harmful.
A sudden loss of power could mean disaster on a bike if in mid turn. At 4500-5000 rpm, the bike surges terribly almost as if it is "bucking". Again, a crash may result if it occurs during a higher speed turn or inclement weather conditions. This has happened too me a large number of times.
The engine has stalled on me on four or five occasions when braking from 30 or so miles per hour, when I have disengaged the clutch. In addition the engine has stalled on me once while sitting at lights in neutral.
The bike keeps stalling at "off idle" even while moving or coasting. If this were to happen in a turn, it could lead to a crash due to suspension instability. Triumph is aware of the problem and has done nothing to correct the situation.
Throttle cuts in and out at low rpm, can crash when turning.
