What owners report

The bike will also "drop" out of 3rd gear causing loss of power and creating hazardous traffic situations. I took the motorcycle to a victory dealership and was informed this was a very common problem with this year motorcycle that victory produced.
The bike has began to jump out of third gear every time. This can cause parts to fail locking up the transmission resulting in loss of control. Victory is well aware of this problem but refuses to make the necessary repairs. The motorcycle has less than 7k miles on it.
These are common problems with the '98-'01 victory bikes. My transmission is showing signs of "going out." victory will not recall nor replace until total failure. Failure of other's bikes have resulted in transmission locking up under speed. Thank you for your attention.
