The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing; however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure, and an oil change was performed. The contact stated that a couple of weeks later, the message "Add a Quarter Oil" was displayed.
