The airbags did not deploy! The driver was slammed into the steering wheel hitting his face against it. He suffered several facial fractures which required surgical repair. He now has plates holding the orbital socket, cheek bone, and jaw. The fracture in front of the ear was not plated.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, during the night and in the rain, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal and jerked violently. The contact jolted violently and was almost thrown off the driver's seat.
Shortly after purchase, I noticed clunking sounds when slowing down or coming to a stop. The issue progressed into rough shifting and eventual check engine lights with codes P0722 and P0700.
The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V702000 (Service Brake, Hydraulic); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
