I was driving and I heard a loud noise the axle broke causing me to lose control and crash into 2 park cars. I at first thought I was hit by another car but upon further research I discovered I was not hit. When we purchased the car we were told there were no prior accidents or repairs.
The contact stated while driving the arrived at a stop sign, the vehicle parking brake would engage randomly. The contact was unsure if any warning lights had been illuminated. The contact mentioned that the failure almost caused her vehicle to be rear-ended during ongoing traffic.
This has caused an immediate safety issue as you lose control of the car, especially when the shift into neutral is a hard shift. This hard shift will cause you to loose traction on wet, icy, or snowy surfaces.
on or around 12 october, my levante 2017 with 85 k mileage, started showing check engine light. i called the dealership the next day. the car stalled on the highway 3-5 times before i got to the dealership. i was told that the engine is dead and the car is NOT drivable anymore. This is a safety issue.
While driving my 2017 maserati levante going less than 20mph I notice the road was bumpy and tried to slow down and the brakes didn't respond. It felt like I was losing control of the car I continue to pump the brakes and it made this loud sound and then car skid to a stop.
The problem was defined as a fuel pump delivery error and the entire fuel pump assembly was replaced. This is a problem that could have ended in death had the car shut down on the freeway. I also wonder, how are the additional dealer, "Certifications" is monitored?
There are no warning lights and the emergency brake also fails at this time. It is through the grace of God that I do not run into a person, auto or property. Again, this is a, "Certified" vehicle which I paid an extra $2,500/year to assure the vehicle would be safe and all additional issues would have been resolved.
