What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle had an electrical system failure, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer multiple times; however, the repair was unrepaired.
It was giving a small clunk at times that i thought was normal characteristics of the aggressive suspension. I do have pictures showing the failure as well if you would like them.
The contact stated several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact's vehicle crashed into a guardrail. In addition, the front passenger's side and rear passenger's side tires fractured and detached.
Prior to the incident (vehicle crash), immediately after the vehicle was purchased (March 2023), it was taken back to the dealership several times due to a slight noise and sensation the wheels and brakes were making. The issue was internment, and the dealership insisted they were unable to replicate the issue.
There was no warning light illuminated. The side air bags deployed. There was no injury sustained. A police report was filed. It was unknown whether there was property damage. The vehicle was towed to Caliber Collision and was awaiting an insurance adjuster assessment.
There was a performance shift warning light illuminated. There were no air bags deployed. The entire front end of the vehicle was damaged. There were no major injuries, but pains on the driver's back. There was no police report or medical treatment. There was no diagnosis regarding the failure.
Brake pedal went to the floor during a track day. The camaro was a 1le track package and gm sells it with a warranty for track as well as instructions for changes to things including moving to a dot 4 brake fluid. I had done that. I have video of the accident.
The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway and shift into park. Upon shifting back into drive, the vehicle suddenly accelerated independently.
