The ambient lights and screen along with the gear lights only sometimes work. My morimoto aftermarket headlights wiring all have completely melted and needed to be replaced and that is just the small things. The car has always had severe driving malfunctions.
In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle had an electrical system failure, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer multiple times; however, the repair was unrepaired.
It was giving a small clunk at times that i thought was normal characteristics of the aggressive suspension. I do have pictures showing the failure as well if you would like them.
The contact stated several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact's vehicle crashed into a guardrail. In addition, the front passenger's side and rear passenger's side tires fractured and detached.
Prior to the incident (vehicle crash), immediately after the vehicle was purchased (March 2023), it was taken back to the dealership several times due to a slight noise and sensation the wheels and brakes were making. The issue was internment, and the dealership insisted they were unable to replicate the issue.
There was no warning light illuminated. The side air bags deployed. There was no injury sustained. A police report was filed. It was unknown whether there was property damage. The vehicle was towed to Caliber Collision and was awaiting an insurance adjuster assessment.

What to check before buying
- Powertrain. Shift quality under load, harsh shifts, transmission codes, CV joints.
- Steering. Steering play, power assist, rack and tie rods after a wheel impact.
- Electrical system. Scan all modules, test the battery and alternator, inspect connectors near the impact zone.
- Engine. Cold start, unusual noises, oil leaks and engine codes.
