What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Description: On June 23, 2025, I was involved in a traffic collision in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to the police report, another driver failed to yield while exiting a private driveway and struck the front of my vehicle while I was stopped in the center turn lane preparing to turn left.
Head hit window. No side air bag deployed. Vehicle is getting repaired at body shop. My son received a concussion; neck pain; numbness in hand. Vehicle inspected by insurance company. Police report available; other driver cited for careless driving. Vehicle hit so hard it was pushed onto sidewalk adjacent to roadway.
The contact stated that the warning message that the front tires were low displayed. The contact added air into the tires but the warning message that the tires were low continued to illuminate.
Bumper to bumper traffic on freeway les than 5 mph traffic suddenly stopped I depressed brake and vehicle did not stop. Slight rear end collision resulted. A second and similar traffic condition resulted at low speed the brakes did not stop the vehicle appropriately.
The brakes have now four times failed to stop the vehicle. When pressed they get hard, then go down to the floor and there's a pulsating feeling. The vehicle just continues to go to the floor.
The contact was knocked unconscious by the air bag. The contact sustained damage to the left eye, which required medical attention. The vehicle was towed and destroyed. A dealer was not made aware of the crash. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
