When we first got the truck my husband and I were driving at about 55 mph and went to brake suddenly and the truck would not stop, it made a grinding sound and I had to pump the brakes a few times before the finally stopped. After that we called the dealer and they said it is because the truck was new..
The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, another vehicle crashed into the contact's vehicle and the air bag failed to deploy. The driver sustained injuries to the neck and the front passenger sustained injuries to the right leg which required medical attention.
My 2005 chevy trailblazer 360 just shut off and I rolled back and slammed in to a tree on the driver side. The keys were also stuck in the ignition and we could not get them out. As we got the truck back home we had to use a crowbar to get the driver door open and take the door panel off to fix the window.
The contact inspected underneath the hood and noticed the power steering pump was leaking fluid onto the ground. In addition, the serpentine belt disconnected. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
