What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact stated that there was condensation building up inside the headlight assembly, causing the headlight illumination to be reduced, and the turn light brightness was dull. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was determined that there was a crack in the headlight housing.
While driving at highway speeds, the vehicle executed unexpected, unprompted automatic emergency braking (phantom braking) X2 with no forward threats present, creating an immediate highway collision hazard.
