What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Truthfully, I'm not sure what I knew they stole from her and when they recovered it she was missing several parts and was hitting her chest
Rear window on driver side, cable snapped less than a year ago. It was raining heavy and I had to ride with the window down for 13 hours till I got home. Tonight, it's the 4th of july, took my kids to see fireworks.. Rolled the window down for them to watch, heard a pop.
Simultaneously these two light come on and off intermittently. Meaning they come on together, sometimes when I hit a speed bump and then they go out for sometimes 1 month or 4 months each time randomly. Always when the car is moving or in operation.
Water runs down the window to the dash board goes beyond the dash down through the firewall and in the glove box thru the glove box and drips onto the air compressor causing the part to break, thus causing the dash board and all the components to over heat because the fan does not work to cool the electrical circuit…
Loud tapping noise from the exhaust manifold bolts being broken in the engine block, which causes and exhaust smell even when standing on the outside of vehicle.
The contact was concerned of the possibility of a fire. The contact also stated that the engine was abnormally loud. The contact spoke with the dealer and was told to take the vehicle in to have the bolt and exhaust manifold replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and the current mileages were 105,000.
When I backed out of my garage and turn my wheel hard to the left to enter the steer from my drive way I hear a loud clicking noise. I took it to hummer and they said it will cost 1500 - 2000 dollars to repair out of pocket. They said it was a subframe support structure that was eroded.
The contact was driving approximately 35 mph when the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to be driven to the dealer where it was inspected. The dealer informed the contact that the bearings on the fwd would need to be replaced. The bearings were replaced. The vin was unavailable.
