What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
After the accident, the window glass didn't break, the doors opened and closed normally. The safety issue is that when the airbags deployed, the engine died immediately, as if from an electrical failure, and the steering wheel pulled to the right and the driver (me) had no braking.
The fuel gauge doesnât accurately show the correct amount of fuel thatâs in the suv. This is a safety issue when driving and not knowing how much fuel you have.
I've called infiniti and another number on a letter I keep getting [phone] many, many times and told them I have not owned this car in 15-years and for them to take my name off the list. No luck and they are wasting time and money and not finding the real owner!!!
Hello! My name is [xxx]. I owner of infiniti fx45 2003 [xxx] and according to vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/ I have several incomplete defects in my car. Could you please check this and support me with parts replacement? Thank you in advance! I contacted a dealership in russia, no action on my appeal happened.
3 of my vehicles doors do not unlock or lock using the key fob or the unlock/lock button on the door. This can be dangerous if you need to lock or unlock the doors in a hurry. It is a known issue in many infiniti fx35/45 of this generation.
The vehicle was taken to infiniti of apex (1900 laura duncan rd, apex, [ZIP]) and the recall repair was performed in march of 2019; however, the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. The contact informed the dealer by phone and they wanted to charge for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired.
