On july, 22, 2009, my 2006 infiniti m35x accelerated out of control. I had parked the car and it took off , went through a metal fence, through some bushes and pulled a pole from the ground. The pole lodged at the bottom of the car and stopped the car which had not responded to the brakes.

The sudden acceleration caused the vehicle to crash into a concrete wall, causing a minor knee injury. The vehicle was towed to the dealership as a precaution. Upon inspection the dealership was unable to duplicate the problem. The problem occurred on multiple occasions and was inspected each time.
The contact made several attempts to restart the vehicle with several unknown warning lights flashing on the instrument panel. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed back to the residence. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
