What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Airbags did not deploy upon collision with another vehicle. The 2017 f-pace jaguar was inspected by both a collision specialist and an insurance agent and it was deemed a total loss. The police crash report indicates that the airbags did not deploy.
I have experienced issues of unintended acceleration, randomly ,over the years of my ownership. The latest incident was the most hazardous, causing damage to my vehicle, and lack of confidence for my safety.
Air bag light went off and seat belts locked up second time. Only 4 seat belts locked up. Only I the driver was in the car. Passenger side wasn't locked up just driver and all 3 rear seats. I am concerned about the safety of myself and passengers if I have any. 1st accident 10 days after owning the car.
A mobile mechanic inspected the vehicle and identified a leak in the fuel line. The contact was informed the fuel line required replacement. The failure mileage was approximately 117,000.
The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the low coolant warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and parked the vehicle. The message "Engine Overheating" was displayed, forcing the contact to turn off the vehicle. The contact was picked up to purchase coolant.
Within a year I was on the freeway and my car just stopped in mid traffic which a semi diesel truck almost hit me due to engine failure. My car just stopped and my check engine light did not come on until this day.
Recurrent coolant leak. Known issue with Jaguar. Coolant system is known to have many weak spots due to plastic tubing and weak coupling joints. Had a repair costing $1500 dollars in 2022 just out of warranty. Now experiencing yet another coolant leak. Other owners have also had multiple leaks.
Even after PMS replacement/repair, the check engine light came back. In the meantime, [dealer] dealership became Land Rover dealership. Now that LR dealership won't fix this.
