The air bag did not deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was filed. The vehicle was towed. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.
This car is dangerous almost got me killed,I get on the freeway get to 55 mph,the car shuts off numerous times, don't drive highway,,I,another times just lock into safetyfailmode numerous times,I was stuck and had car towed, leaks water when it rains to battery I'm always replacing one due to battery drains…
The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained back, neck, and head injuries. A police report was not field. The contact did not call the manufacturer. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was 78,000.
Such as not shifting, hesitation etc. Which could be a major safety issue while driving on the hwy. Once my fiance was driving the vehicle and the hesitation of the transmission caused him to slam into the curb causing major damage to the front end. I've also had the transmission gasket replaced at the dealership.
Son (driver) and his passenger were both belted july 2, 2004 during what he thought was a blowout. Car stopped perpendicular (after full spin) in opposite lane (facing east) from which it had been traveling (north). Wheel sheared from axle/hub on right front! Car on bare right front axle!
When vehicle was hit on the driver's side, between the front and rear doors, there was no deployment of the driver's side or passenger's side air bags. Also, driver's side seat belt came loose from the post.
The car just crossed the 100,000 mile mark and I put gas in, car was on empty and turned off, and after about seven gallons of gas, gas started coming out from under the car. I read about the same problem ( safety recall # 06v418000) in the 2005 jaguar s type, that seems to be exactly what this 2000 s type is doing.
I was pulling into a stall at the treasure coast mall when we heard a loud thud when I got out to see what it was I seem that the tire was leaning in and pushed under the fender.I then had to call a tow truck and found out later that the left front ball joint completely snapped off and the right side was badly worn…
