What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The vehicle veered to the right and crashed into a concrete barrier. The air bags deployed. The contact was transported to the hospital with the assistance of the emergency units. The contact sustained a fractured back and had surgery. The contact also sustained pain in the lower back and was currently hospitalized.
No lane departure warning sounded or alerted me. The vehicle grazed the guardrail on the passenger side then veered left across the other 3 lanes with no warnings or alerts sounding.
The car has 82000 miles on it and transmission had to be replaced. The car is 4 years old and the repair is was $6000.00 which is over half the cars value. Nissan consumer affairs denied any goodwill assistance for a know issue with Nissan CVT transmissions
The passenger door of the vehicle is stuck and unable to open. It is currently in the body shop as they will need to cut into the door to fix the issue. It has gotten stuck previously but has been able to be opened, this time it will not open know matter how much effort is put in.
It is a safety risk as I was driving, it stalled in turning lane on street and wouldn't go. I had to have it put in neutral so I could get it to a safe location so I could have it towed to my residence. I have a service report saying that there's a faulty piece in the transmission by Nissan In Vacaville.
Description of the Problem On August 28, 2025, I had my vehicle serviced at [dealer] due to a transmission malfunction. After the service was completed, I noticed the front end was pulling to the right, as time progress I became concerned. I took the vehicle to an independent service center for a front-end alignment.
I am intrigued about the tubes under the seats. Why aren't they under the car not under the seats
I made a grinding noise and would not go forward as I proceeded to go. I was in the street, had to put on emergency flasher so no one would hit me from the rear. Once traffic cleared I was able drive the car in reverse to a safe location.
