Saa direct reply - letter addressed to president trump requesting assistance with a defective saturn ion the consumer stated the cause of the vehicle's failure that caused the death of the driver was due to the ignition switch.
The consumer stated the power steering failed and caused him to loose control of the vehicle. Also, the air bag failed to deploy.
The contact stated that the rear of the driver seat snapped and the seatbelt failed causing the contact to fly forward and into the steering wheel. An inspector stated that it was impossible for the seat to move forward because it was designed to break backwards.
While driving on ice, the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashed and none of the air bags deployed.
Vehicle ran into another car on the driver side and air bags did not deploy. Consumer tried to avoid the other vehicle by slamming on breaks but to no avail.
I had a three-car accident on highway 258 south in tarboro, north carolina on june 1, 2003. My car is a saturn sl1 2003. The lady in front of me came to complete stop making a left turn. I then quickly stopped but the couple behind me were not able to stop. A majority of the damage to my car took place on the backend.
