I tried to turn at the curve during the exit, but the car lost power steering, I could not turn the steering wheel, and ended up hitting the wall.
I was backing up my car very slowly from my friend's drive way to center of street, all the sudently the car lost control, keep backing up with very fast speed 360 degree to hit neighber's front yard wall and concrete street light. back of my car smasshed and total lost.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Car suppposed to stop itself as it has all sensors. Still car rear ended other car. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Jeopardy. Since accident occured in residential area my family was okay.
While driving in traffic, my 2023 Toyota Mirai suffered a sudden and total loss of motive power. The vehicle became completely unresponsive while in 'Drive', presenting a severe safety hazard.
The vehicle relies on hydrogen fuel, but hydrogen stations in California are frequently unavailable or offline. Many stations are closed or out of fuel for extended periods. In addition, the price of hydrogen fuel has increased dramatically (approximately three times higher than when the vehicle was purchased).
