What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I've experienced ongoing issues with the crc application for the toyota tundra frame rust issue since it was originally applied. The first application failed after 1 day of use. The second application failed less than a year later. The third application, applied oct. 14 2013 has now failed.
The driver-side window has an auto up and auto down feature. The auto up does not have a sensor to stop travel if window is blocked. This can cause personal injury and/or the glass to break.
With rear windows open, the sound the resonates from cargo area is very uncomfortable to the occupants. Not able to drive with rear windows open. Not a one-time occurance, but daily. This would deter future purchases.
Car hit a pot hole at about 35 mph, front end began to shake violently, and the driver thought the vehicle might lose control of steering
