What owners report

About 1 month before the crash, the rear brake pads were completely worn out at 3,000 miles. I believe this was due to the brake line routing right next to the exhaust pipe, causing the brake fluid to heat and apply the brake. The dealers solution was to install new heavy-duty pads to improve wear.
Several warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle then shifted back to 5th gear independently. The contact was able to continue riding. The motorcycle was taken to an independent mechanic where the clutch plate was replaced on two different occasions; however, the failure recurred increasingly while riding.
All rotor bolts sheered off while riding on the freeway. Pulley, sprocket, and rear rim were ruined. Bike has been serviced regularly and as recommended. Victory/polaris "good willed" almost the entire repair tab which was over $1,000.

Some have stated that this is not uncommon and was likely due to the powder-coating on the sprocket wearing off, allowing enough play/movement to result in…
2003 victory vegas when parked leaks fuel from the vent tube under the tank.
My motorcycle stalls / losses power on its own at any speed, both cold or warmed up. This is extremely dangerous - when in traffic or especially crossing a busy intersection. From a stop light or sign- I have entered into intersections 4 times, when the bike stalled out.
