What owners report

Takata recall the auto park brake will not unlock at times and then at times it locks up going down road no accident at this time it is disconected now using park brake to hold vehicle when parked
In addition, the power steering failed and the brakes failed to respond. The brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. As a result the parking brake was engaged in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the fuses, but the failure recurred.
Now I have a 16000# mh with no parking brake. This system seems to have many faults and the manufacture should be doing something to fix this.
Electric auto brake system failure. Gm part number 15961565.
Later that month while driving the auto parking brake engaged w/o warning and caused considerable damage to vehicle's driveshaft and other powertrain components.
Parking brake will engage while vehicle is in operation at any speed. Defect occurs on a random basis. The brake lights do not come on when the parking brake engages, making driving this vehicle dangerous.
Driving motorhome, started accelerating uphill; at top going downhill, accelerator pedal stuck. Speed reached from 65 to 75mph; kept foot on brakes to slow down. Mechanic from sanders trucking co looked at cable wires & noticed that crimped or pinched wires caused accelerator pedal to stick.
While driving the suspension failed, causing the vehicle to shake and lose steering power.
