What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The motorcycle headlights, ignition, and other electrical items work intermittently. Lights will go off with no warning while operating the bike. Ignition switch also fails with no warning.
A grounding block in the electrical system overheated and failed. The loss of ground caused several electrical anamolies, the most serious being that the headlights failed.
I just purchased a brand new motor cycle. Within riding the bike 30 miles one way to work, the seat and frame of the bike became so hot that it burned my growing area, butt and my legs. I tried to ride the bike on other occasions and had similar experiences.
