I drove with at a very low speed (about 22 mph), when the frame of my brand new triumph speed triple (2 months old, driven about 1,300 miles) broke parallel on both sides. I lost control over the bike and crashed into a bus.
front brakes of motorcycle act inconsistently. A "double pull" is required of the front brake lever. the first pull is much longer and mushier than subsequent pulls. After the first pull, the brakes act normally for some period of time, then the cycle repeats itself. It is unnerving to have inconsistent brakes.
No warning lights on the motorcycle. The problem started around 1,000 miles on the motorcycle. I purchased the motorcycle new in August 2018 as a brand new 2016 model year left over. The manufactures warranty ran out in August 2020.
The brakes have an inconsistent pressure issue during operation. The first pull of the brake is soft and "spongey" and takes multiple pulls to build pressure. Full bleeding of brake system, replacement of pads, etc. does not resolve the issue.
Since new, The front brake, on first pull, has limited effect, it needs to be pumped using several pulls to have the expected power. I had the dealer look at it, they agreed and bled the brakes which fixed the problem for a couple of days, then it reverted to the same poor operation.
Where the fuel pump/sending unit plate bolts to the tank it deformed enough to let fuel leak out onto the engine , I am fearful it will ignite.
