The Hyundai Kona was struck head-on by another vehicle. There was one driver and one minor passenger in the right rear seat in the Hyundai Kona. The driver had minor injuries while, unfortunately, the accident was fatal to the passenger.
The passenger air bag did not deploy but the driver;'s side air bag did deploy on contact. The vehicle was broadside on the driver's side. The vehicle then spun around and hit the other vehicle.
Consumer was in an auto accident where the airbags did not deploy. The consumer stated the vehicle was involved I an accident where the side curtain airbags did not deploy. The passenger was severely injured.
My airbag was activated and the car rolled back after the impact. There was no damage to the wall and the sheriffs deputy who arrived after the car's emergency notification system was activated did not make a report since the employees at cvs declined to press any charges.
My 2020 Kona 2.OL failed an oil test losing 2.5 quarts in 960 miles, stalled on the highway, and blows oil out the tailpipe. Hyundai ([ref]) is denying repair coverage because my VIN was excluded from Recall 21V301000. This recall needs to be expanded to include my VIN.
The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle hesitated, and there was white smoke coming from the exhaust. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where the contact was advised to take the vehicle to a dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure.
SAFETY RISK; The defective piston rings caused severe internal oil consumption, resulting in hydraulic oil starvation. This creates a high risk of sudden engine stalling, catastrophic engine seizure, and complete loss of motive power while driving in traffic.
