Was Halter berichten
Kurze Auszüge aus NHTSA-Beschwerden im Original (Englisch). Aussagen der Halter, von der NHTSA nicht geprüft; persönliche Daten entfernt.
On September 16, 2024 at approximately 13:20 my mother was driving her 2023 Toyota Crown in the parking lot of the post office and she was slowing down to park in a parking spot when all of a sudden the vehicle lunged, surges, jerks ,speeds forward all on the cars own with no physical driver commands .
The impact was so hard that my head hit the window. State Farm did their investigation and totaled the vehicle (less than 6 months old and approximately 6000 miles). Not one air bag deployed with that hard of an impact - not one!
lower exterior door molding panels completely detach and fly off the vehicle at highway speeds due to a failure of the factory plastic mounting clips, creating an immediate road debris hazard for vehicles traveling behind me.
Issue with Rear Camera not turning off when car is placed in Drive. notified Toyota Corp twice and dealership about this issue. There is a total loss of multimedia display when this happens. When I put the car in Park turn off the the car and restart the rear camera turns off.
The contact stated that the instrument panel screen had turned blank. The contact received the recall notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V595000(Electrical System). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who confirmed that the recall remedy parts were not available.
The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V595000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
The contact stated that while driving at 50 MPH, the driverâs side window was vibrating abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 14,850.
The first time I found that the blind spot light of the left rearview mirror was not on was in February 2024. Because the blind spot light was not on and I didn't see any vehicles in the rearview mirror, I almost hit the car behind me when I changed lanes. The other party honked at me to show dissatisfaction.
