What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
There is a check engine light exact for my transmission sensors, but it actually needs to be changed immediately. Due to my financial hardship that COIVD has caused me as a young single mother, I am unable to pay for this unknown excessive charge for the proper service.
On 9/3/20, I was involved in an accident where the driver who crashed into me ran a red light while I was making a left hand turn off the offramp at sahara ave. To go west in las vegas, nv.
The contact stated that while driving at various speeds without warning a loud whining noise was heard with the vehicle unstable power control. The contact pulled over and restarted the vehicle and the vehicle operated as intended.
My steering controls do not work. The steering wheel controls dont work and cruise control does not work. The controls for the speedometer for digital use do not work. There is only 36000 miles on the car and the part to fix is unavailable.
Vehicle's tipm module failed, causing the vehicle to stall to a stop on a busy street. Hazard lights did not work. Transmission shifter locked itself in park. All cluster instrument warning lights were on. Uconnect sound system off. Power windows and locks disabled. Sliding doors locked and disabled.
Vehicle was totaled, no injuries received, air bags did not deploy. Travel speed was at posted limit of 35. When my son got there he said that it looked as if the 2 tires on the right had malfunctioned and gone flat, almost as if they had run over sharp objects, causing the van to suddenly veer right
