Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact stated that after crashing into the brick wall, the seat belt became unlatched. There were no warning lights illuminated. The driver sustained injuries to the wrist, which had struck the steering wheel, and the left hand which struck the door on impact.
I have had an issue like the 30 other complaints on here with my window going up and down and faulty switch!!! Went to dodge and the lady stated no open recalls on the vehicle so I was probably looking at $2500 to fix . How is dodge not being held accountable for this and being liable to create a recall!!!
In accident airbag did not deploy and both driver and passenger were injured. Driver suffered head injuries and concussion. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Car is totaled out by insurance company. Not sure of answer to this question.
A few days later, on a Sunday, I am driving and the check engine light comes on. I bring it to Auto Zone and get a reading of thermostat erratic. Bring it to the mechanic the next day on Monday, who gets the same reading.
The cars light notifications on instrument cluster panel turned on all of them at the same time while accelerating jerking the car on freeway I have video of that happening and can provide it upon request it did caused a minor accident but I settled the accident with other driver with cash with out involving insurance…
I noticed that the airbags didn't deploy. The seat belt did lock up but the airbags did not come out.
