What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Upon inspecting the bottom of my RV after my trip. I noticed the following: Rear sway bar bushing/ saddle bracket became loose. Lost 1 bolt (bottom) and the other (upper) bolt is loose. The upper bolt holding the rubber bushing and saddle bracket and saddle bracket is bent. 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 35K.
The driver & passenger side windows have fogged up so bad we can't see the rear view mirrors. They are dual pane. Started 2nd year of ownership. Stationary, in motion, just keeps getting worse.
The passenger side seatbelt becomes twisted and tangled each time the seat is rotated toward the living area. The seat only turns one direction because engine doghouse gets in way. Seatbelt is unusable. Driver side wiper clip falls off stopping wiper
On 2 occasions while driving the engine stopped all electrical devices stopped, no brakes, no powers steering, no lights, not even a horn. Last incident was merging into 70 mph traffic on interstate. I was able to get vehicle stopped on shoulder and it was recovered by wrecker. Chassis is ford v10 .
Traveling 55 mph on interstate-10, tucson, az., nmt 10 miles from rv dealership, brake light came on along with yellow hazard light. Brake pedal nearly touched floor while stopping, very little stopping action. Ford diagnostic showed failure of abs brake module. 35-foot long rv had to be towed.
