Steering assembly broke, causing loss of control/accident(ohio state police report).
Contact states: 1984 honda accord has a rusted gas filler neck, recall 92v028000. Dealer will not replace the filler neck because the area is so rusted the new neck will not attach to it. The fuel line is also contaminated due to rust. Car would not start, and now stalls in traffic.
After looking at the car on the lift he stated that the frame had rusted through to the point that it posed a threat to me driving and therefore refused to make any further repairs on it.
The seat belt in my vehicle doesn't fit me. Honda does not make a seat belt extension. I've already been ticketed twice by the law. The second one is pending I would like to go before the judge with an explanation. I really think tha t someone should look into the fact why honda corp. Doesn't make one.
A pipe rusted through. Only part to do so. Very expensive and very dangerous.
Left rear seatbelt anchor pulled out from wheel well due to excessive rusting. Yh
Water leaks into trunk where fuel filler pipe mounts to wheel well and trunk area.
Intermittent stalling; vehicle idles too high and too low/shifts down while driving on freeway, causing very low speed; must pull of road, let it die then start again.
