The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road, and the hood was closed but failed to latch securely.
The ESC off warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact's daughter was able to slowly drive the vehicle home despite the failure. The contact then test drove the vehicle and experienced the failure.
The consumer stated while driving the vehicle the steering failed pulling the vehicle into oncoming traffic. An auto mechanice advised that the front and lower control arm broke and was on recall. The consumer discovered the vehicle was not included in the recall, but believed it should have been.
I was taking my family for shopping, and after my kids (5 kids) were seated in the car and making sure the seat belts was worn. I walked to the driver door to start the car and drive to the destination; a thick white smoke was coming out of underneath the engine hood even though the car's engine was still off!
The contact stated that whenever they would maneuver the vehicle while parking, there was a squealing sound coming from the wheels. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic to replace the tires however, the certified mechanic stated that the lower control arms had rusted and needed to be replaced.
Rear sliding door flew open while on highway with my grandkids in the car .majority of the times the rear sliding doors will not open the buttons do not remotely open the sliding doors and the sliding doors get stuck .its really dangerous because if my grandkids are back there a danger breaks out they are most likely…
The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in her driveway, she went outside and noticed smoke coming from the under the hood. The stated that she and family members attempted to extinguish the fire with hoses as flames were seen coming from under the vehicle.
When I stepped on the gas from a stop at a red light the engine started racing and the throttle stuck.the engine wouldn't stop racing so I had to turn the key off to get it to stop. Pretty scary. A secondary issue is that the rear passenger seat will not flip up. It's locked in place.
