What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the malfunction warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a fractured aluminum bracket that sits between the front bumpers.
The contact stated while driving approximately 15 MPH, the vehicle shifted into limp mode. The contact stopped the vehicle and had the vehicle towed to a local dealer. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed with needing ECM replaced.
Several warning lights came on in the dash including the crash sensors, and the car lost all power. I was able to safely pull the car over to the side of the road. I tried to restart the car with no success. Once the start button is pushed, the car makes a clicking noise but the engine does not turn on.
