What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
After exiting, I realized I had left my keys in the backseat. While standing outside the vehicle, I called Waymo phone support and asked the agent to stop/ground the car so I could retrieve my keys. Support did not stop the vehicle; it drove off with my keys inside.
Waymo vehicle made a sudden merge into my vehicle's lane despite only about 1 car space between me and another vehicle in front when the Waymo's lane was blocked. I had to swerve my car hard left to avoid the Waymo from colliding into my vehicle.
