What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I was involved in an auto accident on May 18, 2026. I was hit by a person driving a Honda Accord on the side of my vehicle. The impact made all of the passenger side airbags deploy, but only the driver’s side steering wheel airbag and knee airbag deployed on the driver’s side of my vehicle.
I was in an accident that I hit a guardrail once going 70 mph and then bounced off and hit the guardrail and none of my air bags deployed.
Active lane management jerked me off the road disabled my forward and rear crash detection sensor and my automatic high beams were disabled all simultaneously without warning or any sign scared me and my family since then my forward crash section is permanently on and will not go off I have no active lane management…
the accident occurred on [XXX] in the city of Visalia, Ca. I’m not sure what time it was happened and any other details because I’m not the person involved in the accident but I bought the car from a dealership located in Corona, Ca on [XXX].
During a violent impact to the right front section of the vehicle, the air bags failed to deploy.
Dealer refuses to repair claiming corrosion. Alot of reports of unusual brake pads and rotors wearing down way too fast for milage usage which points to defective parts. See below link for additional complaints. This is a safety risk.
On August 8, 2026, while driving on the highway, the vehicle suffered a sudden loss of motive power/drivetrain engagement accompanied by non-stop audible warning chimes, cluster warning light cascades, and an SVC 4WD (Service 4WD) message disabling drive modes.
We purchased the jeep less than 2 years ago and over the past three months it has repeatedly failed to start or has stalled unexpectedly, leaving us stranded on multiple occasions. Despite taking the vehicle to dealership and other service centers four times, no one has been able to diagnose or repair the issue.
