What owners report

While driving my 2019 Range Rover Evoque on the highway on [XXX], the headliner on my vehicle just suddenly collapsed, hitting me in the head while driving and blocking my view of my rear windshield and rear view mirror and startling me almost causing a serious accident at 70 miles per hour.
[ref] December 30, 2024 The car was serviced due to a faulty door latch. Pd $1200.00 Two days later the passenger door flew open, and would not close. After 10 minutes I finally got the door to close fully.2 days later, the same door opened and almost hit shoppers in a parking lot.
11633354 2 invoices attached $1232.20 Faulty door latch, camera, mirrors, alarm issues A recall was issued for this problem on 2019 evoque N335 19v-392
The contact also stated that the rearview camera, and the driver’s and passenger’s side mirrors were not functioning using the controls on the inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the door latch switch was faulty and needed to be replaced.
Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminated with VCT diagnostic trouble codes stored in module; increased induction noise while driving; reduction in performance; and camshaft over speed. This was covered in N481 but has expired.
During heavy rain or snow, there is water intrusion coming through the center of windshield. this water lands on my center console where a lot of my controls and they shouldn't be getting wet.
Additionally, the hazard light failed to turn off as needed. The contact drove to the dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 51,000.
While driving on the interstate I released the cruise and slowed down when coming up on an 18 wheeler. When it was clear I began to change lanes to the left and tried to accelerate but the engine would not respond. About 5 or 6 seconds later it finally responded. This has happened about a dozen times at random.
