What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
My fuel light came on and I stopped to fill up with gas. While pumping, the pump clicked off multiple times. I knew it was not full. I got it to 17 gallons and left. As I was driving, I noticed the vehicle did not sound normal when shifting. I slowed to approach a turning lane and my vehicle proceeded forward.
Airbags failed to deploy in front end collision, causing extensive bodily injury damage surpassing insurance minimums. The police report as well as the insurance inspector's report both confirmed that airbags did not deploy when they should have deployed. There were never any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms.
I was pulling into a parking stall and my engine started revving up. The car went over a curb and hit a wall. The car left skid marks. I owned the car a total of four hours, and at the time of the collision it had 50 miles on it. I paid cash for the vehicle and the dealership is stalling to do any type of repairs.
A week after they reprogrammed it, on day I was parking at the driveway and my brakes didn't work neither my forward collision warning or my Automatic Emergency Braking.
In wet, rainy conditions, the dynamic stability control malfunctioned and would not cede control back to the driver. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the guardrail, causing injury to an passenger. I am an attorney, reporting this on behalf of my client who was the injured passenger, Mr. Vikram Gunda.
The blowout displaced the axle. The vehicle was brought to a stop without a collision, and no injuries occurred. The vehicle was towed to Galpin Jaguar Land Rover in [XXX], where the tire was replaced and the axle and wheels were realigned.
