I pressed the brake more firmly and while it did respond more so than before, the car was by no means slowing down at a fast enough rate considering how long I had been applying the brake and the fact that I was only traveling at…

Takata recall. This car is kept in san bernardino county, california, where there are large fluctuations of temperature and periods of high humidity in both summer and winter. The car is ten years old. The deadline for receipt of new, non-defective airbag keeps getting pushed back.
Takata passenger airbags (recall): sir/ma'am, received a letter via mail from the national highway traffic safety administration (nhtsa), recall #16v-374. Also, it may of affected my vehicle's electrical system since my gps dashboard system no longer works anymore.

After paying for this lemon 80k I put key in to drive and it won't turn. Took it to dealer they said it needed steering column. Cost 4200. Really! Top of the line [xxx]. Recall was on 2006 go figure..... I'm very upset the corporate office couldn't do any thing.
Throttle will stay open (and seemingly open a bit more) for approximately 1/2 - 3/4 of a second after foot removed from accelerator pedal. Particularly troublesome at very slow speeds, parallel parking, etc.
