What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The open door struck me, knocking me to the ground and the vehicle rolled over my legs, groin and arm before stopping after colliding with a dirt pile. This resulted in severe injuries and hospitalization. The vehicleâs gear selector is the rotary dial type.
The vehicle was in park, I had removed my seatbelt but not exited the car yet and the car went backwards with some force and breaking didn't stop it, only after I hit the button to cut it off, multiple times, did it finally shut down. My husband was behind the car, getting ready to get the groceries out of the rear.
There was significant damage to my vehicle and the store my airbag did not deploy. Suddenly the vehicle slowed on its own. It was placed on a tow truck and delivered to the h&h premier automotive in omaha.
I rolled backwards into another car. After the accident my car would also not go into park. I had to stay in the car with my foot on the brake until the police and tow truck arrived.
Had the bracket separated or shifted while driving, it could have resulted in loss of braking performance, vehicle damage, loss of vehicle control, a crash, serious injury, or death. The abnormal noise began shortly after the recall repair. I reported the issue to the dealership at that time.
Known Recall Issue: The failure pattern aligns with known manufacturer defect categories involving: â¢Engine torque / internal engine failure conditions â¢Cooling system failure leading to overheating Shortly after I purchased my 2015 Range Rover, I started to have repeated and escalating safety-critical failures…
The contact experienced the failure and indicated that while driving at various speeds, there was a rattling sound, and vibration was coming from the front end of the vehicle. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The failure mileage was 63,000.
The plate that holds up the gas tank is rusting away, causing the gas tank to not be fully supported this could lead to the whole gas tank being insecure
