What owners report

The steel fuel tank shield on my 2014 Range Rover Supercharged (L405) is completely rusted through. This part is not a cosmetic cover. It cradles and supports the fuel tank and protects it from road debris.
The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 147,260.
We first received notice of the recall on December 18, 2024. The front right suspension knuckle joint was making a clicking noise for several weeks and has now cracked and detached the suspension arm on the front right wheel. Thus making my car completely unsafe to drive.
The contact was advised not to drive the vehicle because of the failure. In addition, the contact was informed that the parts were not available to repair the vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V840000 (Steering); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable.
The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact stated several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact attempted to start the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to start.
The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V840000 (Steering); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
Front wheel knuckle failure. I received an email last year on a recall for specific VINs for this failure and my VIN does not apply within the specific years of 2014-2016. I have a 2014 L405 Land Rover and am very concerned of this failure.
Thousands of customers have reported issues in their vehicles with cylinder 4 cracked pistons resulting in engine failure. Land Rover refuses to address the issue in their vehicles causing this malfunction and costly vehicle repair.
