What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
However, my airbag did not deploy and I hit my chest and knees very hard against the steering wheel and dashboard. Airbag deployment is a basic safety feature during an accident particularly in a luxury vehicle like Mercedes Benz that is known for its safety record.
The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The vehicle was towed to a lot and the manufacturer diagnosed that the crash was not severe enough for the air bags to deploy.
The car rattles. One day I was driving n the seat I was sitting on blew up for no reason. They replace only the inside parts and never the stitching on the seat so I have a ripped seat for something that was not my fault . This call is def a lemon or should be recalled.
I was pulling into a parking spot at my health club. As I was about to stop, my vehicle suddenly and violently accelerated going into the curb, up a dirt berm and over some very large boulders. I never made it over the berm because the car got lodged onto of a large rock.
Car's response was very good and we liked the car very much. On june 16 I drove the car on freeway for about 23 miles then on the road for another mile with couple of red light stops. Then I turned left into the parking lot and right turn in to the parking spot.
It failed to communicate properly with the power steering system, alongside dashboard warnings for the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Antilock Braking System (ABS) now my car is parked and I canât drive it. I had to call a tow truck to take it home.
All of sudden blind spot inoperable , turning signal to Rt. , signal goes LT. OR TURNING SIGNAL TO LT. , SIGNAL GOES To RT.
Car was found to have the rear subframe corrosion for issue. But also the brake lines were corroded very badly. They should be covered under the rear subframe extended warranty replacement. The rear brake lines are an frequent issue and almost always shows up when the subframe begins to rot.
