What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle decelerated and lost power without warning. The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and restarted after approximately 50 seconds. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered to tow the vehicle to the dealer at a discounted rate.
Both seat belts in the front row retracted quickly and severely as if there was an accident. The car was moving at about 35 miles per hour on a 2 lane road with no cars or hazards around the car.
