What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
This unexpected loss of power put my familyâs safety and mine at risk, as the incident could have caused a serious accident if it had occurred in traffic or on a freeway. The dealer confirmed the recall but cannot complete the repair until Nissan provides instructions.
I had been having issues with my vehicle randomly stalling out when I would start it and put it into reverse. It also was hesitating during acceleration at times. On 9/2/25 I took it to a Nissan dealership for these issues and was told they couldnât find anything wrong.
It made rattling noises when accelerating. Took it to Nissan dealerships multiple times and was told it was SAFE TO DRIVE in that condition and it can be in regards to the current safety recall on this vehicle. They REFUSED to provide a loaner or state I may need to stop driving this car.
The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, where the failure was linked to the engine. An unknown repair was performed; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated while driving 80 MPH, the vehicle unintendedly decelerated to 30 MPH.
The contact stated that while driving at 65 MPH with the A/C unit set to 70 degrees, she observed a loud bang emanating from the roof of the vehicle. The contact opened the sunroof visor and noticed the glass sunroof was missing.
The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle was sputtering and jerking. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to drive to his destination, where the vehicle was parked and turned off.
No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who confirmed the fluid leak from an unknown location and informed the contact that there was a misfire in cylinder #2. The vehicle was not repaired.
The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, [dealer] ([address], Naperville, [ZIP]) who informed the contact that the shocks and another unknown part needed to be replaced.
