What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact also stated that at that same moment, his wife became aware that the electronic power steering was not functioning properly, requiring increased effort in her attempt to regain control of the vehicle. The side curtain air bags were deployed. No warning lights were illuminated.
The Trooper originally said that he was not going to ticket me for anything as I was driving under the speed limit and not overdriving, however, came back later and said that he would have to ticket me because the DOT would throw a fit if he didn't because they would have to fix the guard rail.
There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that on one occasion, the vehicle rolled and hit his wife while she was attempting to stop the vehicle from rolling. The contact's wife fell on the pavement. The vehicle then hit another unoccupied parked vehicle. A police report was filed.
No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle shutting off caused the crash. The air bags did deploy. The contact was not sure how fast the other vehicle was going at the time of the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer.
Forward collision warning failed leading to accident. Automatic emergency braking didn’t engage leading to accident. I didn’t have ANY warning of impending collision. The car made no attempt to brake or alert. I heard a beeping sound on impact but nothing prior.
Car rolled away and crashed into my neighbor's vehicle with my mother and child inside Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center: Problem was confirmed by a class action lawsuit (Case No. 3:21-cv-00099).
The air bags did not deploy upon impact. Her son was taken to the hospital where he was treated for multiple injuries to his head, both legs, both wrists, and back. The whereabouts of the other drivers were unknown. A police report was filed.
Airbags did not deploy and we got hurt. I’m not looking a lawsuit nothing like that. I want my car just fixed or replaced and the car does have recalls for electrical and other problems
