Airbags did not deploy in broadside crash suspension is messed up steering wheel wobbles hard when turning engine failed 6 months after van was bought and scores of other problems
Air bags failed to deploy which resulted in driver's head hitting steering wheel. Vehicle was totaled with owner suffering from some injuries. Please describe details.
Iwas in a low speed car wreck hitting a stopped vehicle approx, speed was 35 m.p.h., the drivers airbag deployed on impact knocking me unconscious. I sustained major injuries to my back and neck from this now outdated airbag. Why has this product not been recallled and replaced with the next generation airbags.
While driving at about 35 to 40 mph under cloudy conditions with headlights on came to a stop sign. While proceeding across the road, another vehicle turned left and in frontof consumer's vehicle, causing consumer to crash into the side of other vehicle. Upon impact, driver's air bag did not deploy.
After 2nd repairs, while driving and upon attempting to stop, brake pedal went to floor, and vehicle had no brakes. It swerved to miss hitting child & hit a parked vehicle. Dealer offered to repair brakes, again, for third time, for free.
The rear seat belts holding child safety seat failed to restrain it. The child safety seat flipped over & hit rear of front seats. Child seat was faced rear at time of impact.
While driving at 20 mph had direct frontal impact, the driver's air bag did not deploy, which did not protect the occupant in this accident. The passenger's rear seat belt, in which the css was strapped, unbuckled, causing the css to flip over resulting in injuries. Causes unknown. .et.
Did not take vehicle in for repairs because did not get the letter from his wife until 1997.had accident on 6-12-97, was driving approximately 50mph when abs light came on; lost control of vehicle and ran into an embankment, recall #96v009.
