What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
"takata recall" the airbags did not deploy. Vehicle was rear-ended at 30 mph and pushed into car in front. The airbags did not deploy. The driver seat broke and twisted and the headrest dislodge and flew out of the seat. Vehicle was stationary in traffic when rear-ended by car moving 30 mph. This on a city street.
When I got out of the car I noticed my airbags didn't deploy. I remember there being a recall on them and larry h miller did no have the parts they needed so they told me they would not fix the problem. If that other drive was going 4-5 mph faster my son and I could be dead do to no airbags.

I had my seat belt on. The airbag was deployed hitting me in the face. The entire front end of the vehicle was destroyed,. I was extracted from the vehicle by the fire dept. And ems and taken by ambulance to the hospital emergency room. There x-rays of my spine were taken.
