What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
This car was involved in a one car accident severe enough to deploy airbags and none of the airbags deployed. The car with only a driver on board was traveling 65 mph on a highway when it crossed the center line and then was swerved to miss an oncoming car.
Fuel gauge inverses. The fuel gauge meter lights upside down usally when I wash my vehicle or when there is alot of moisture in the air. I push on the clear plastic to fix but it goes right back in the wrong possition again. It is very anoying.
There was a recall on the paint on this car way back. This recall was for only the hood. Since then the same is happening but to the doors.
My trunk has water coming into it,I can't tell if it is the rubber seal?
My car started to overheat on the way home from work. Took it to a shop, they told that my engine block was cracked but it was a manufacturing defect from honda. Took it to the honda dealership and they said the 10 year warranty ext passed and they can't do anything about it.
Engine block cracked and leaked out coolant . Repair costs are more than the car is worth . Honda warranty was for 10 years because this was a common problem our car is 11 years old
