What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contain sustained an injury, but did not require medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000. Updated 10/19/15
I called infiniti and they said once they replace the fuel pump in a previous recall they are not required to replace another one. Even if they are at fault it's my burden to fix the issue.
The infiniti then hit a brick column supporting a building with full frontal impact between the headlights. The front air bags did not deploy. The car was a complete loss - $26,000. The driver suffered a fractured vertebrae and concussion and multiple bruises.
The contact stated that the rear view mirrors created blind spots. The blind spots caused an obstruction and the contact was unable to see an oncoming vehicle and caused a crash. The front driver side of the contact's vehicle crashed into the front passenger side of another vehicle.

I also noticed that the car jerks violently when changing gears in the automatic transmission. I bought the car in may of this year, its under 100k miles. I contacted the dealership and I'm waiting on a response.
The passenger airbag light stays on constantly. We had the dealership do a diagnostic on it and came back that the occupant control sensor unit in the passenger seat is bad and they want 6400.00 to fix it!! Ironically, other 2007-2008 infinity ex35 models were recalled for the same issue, except mine due to my vin!
