Tl contact owns a 2005 jaguar x-type. While making a left turn on a hill at an unknown speed, the contact was involved in a head on crash. None of the air bags deployed and the contact sustained permanent brain damage. The manufacturer has not been notified. The current and failure mileages were 17,000.
Car hit a embankment and was a major accident flipping over twice than landing on side and the air bags never went off, my son and my future daughterinlaw suffered whip lash and back problems, this car is pretty new and says it has six air bags non went off.
No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the front-end suspension and wheel bearings. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 61,000.
Headlight adjusters broken. This causes the headlights to point downward at the road and reduced visibility for night driving. It was nearly impossible to see the lines on the road and operate the vehicle.
The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator inadvertently illuminated on and off. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000.
The headlights are angled too low and the mechanic says that a plastic piece is broken and the entire headlight assembly needs to be replaced. I keep the fog lights on to compensate for the limited view of the low beams. I also use the high beams at night whenever I can.
Driving at night I noticed that the headlights look out of alignment. The right light was about normal, but the left light was aimed down and to the left of the road ahead. It was difficult to see the highway. I purchased the car new. It's never been in an accident or hit on the front end.
